Akiko Fukuda, Illustrator
With a 12 year career in fashion, Milène made many memorable connections along her journey. Working with designer Akiko Fukuda for 10 years was one of them. Milène was thrilled to collaborate with Akiko on the packaging and incorporate her artwork on each chocolate bar.
Born and raised in Japan, Akiko Fukuda is a New York based illustrator. After 13 years of holding fashion designer positions in the NY Fashion Industry, she started afresh with Illustration in 2017. Through her work, she wants to share expressions of beauty, purity, and the allure of women in the female form. She hopes to reconnect women with the grace and innocence they felt as children.
